What You’ll Need

  • A compatible nbn®-ready modem/router (BYO or purchase from Untangled)
  • For HFC, an nbn® Network Termination Device will be provided free by nbn®
  • A power outlet near the install point
  • A person over 18 must be present for installation

 

Important Information

Minimum Term

All NBN plans are month-to-month. A 30-day notice period applies for cancellation, as outlined in our Terms of Service.

Set-up Fees

There are no set-up fees for this service.

Equipment Fees

Router purchase is optional. Pricing ranges from $480 to $1,080, depending on the model.

New Development Charge

NBNCo may apply a $300 new development fee for properties requiring new infrastructure. This includes newly built dwellings, lots under reconstruction, or new addresses. You’ll be informed if this applies during signup.

Other Possible Costs

  • If you upgrade mid-month, you’ll pay the pro-rata difference
  • No refunds are given for downgrades
  • Adding a second line during changeover costs $300
  • Customer is responsible for any cabling (must use a licensed contractor)

Qualifications

You must agree to Untangled’s business terms. Service may be restricted and/or cancelled if:

  • You fail to pay your bill
  • You are abusive to our staff
  • You breach the Fair Use Policy or Terms of Service
